Justice

Today, I enter one of the pop quiz contest in facebook. The prize goes to the first who answer correctly. I am the first to answer 'correctly'. However, the problem is my answer was hidden as spam in their page (I did not know until they told me so). Therefore, the admin try to message me through the comment box and seeking explaination from me. I was away when they messaged me. In the end, they announced other people as winner. I was so angry. The winner supposed to be me! How can they announce other people as winner when I am the first who answered correctly. The reason they gave me was because my answer appeared as 'hidden as spam' in their page and I did not repond to them when they try to reach me through the comment box. Due to dissatisfaction with the result, I messaged the admin. They keep arguing that I am the one who caused my message to appear as 'hidden as spam' and they have no choice but to choose other as winner. They also told me that I did not response when they try to reach me. Are they expecting me to be looking at my computer screen every second? So that I can reply once they messaged me? 

I tried to explain to them that what causes my answer to 'hidden as spam' does not comes from my side. It might be from facebook or their side (their page). They insisted that I am the one who caused it. Therefore, I googled to prove that I am right. After searching here and there finally, I am able to prove that I am right.Thanks to this page.

Guess what? I finally got my jusctice! They agreed to announce me as co-winner as they thought that the other winner that they have chosen earlier was innocent. How does that sounds to you?, they asked. Well, I agreed with it. After all, what I actually want  is justice!

Dragonfruit

My conversation with a 3 years old child today...

Me: KX, look! That is a dragon (pointing at the picture of a dragon on a book).
KX: Teacher, dragon likes to eat "dragonfruit".
Me: Are you sure?
KX: Yeah.
Me: (What a cute child!)

Gangnam Style

Just now I saw one of my friend's facebook shout out asking about 'What is Gangnam Style?'. Therefore, it encouraged me to google it.

The person who started it is from South Korean rapper named Psy. Wonder how he looks like? Here he is. Notice his black glasses? I guessed that would be his trademark besides his way of dancing.

Gangnam Style is easy-to-imitate horse-riding dance. Wonder how? Take a look at the video here. Since going live on July 15, “Gangnam Style” by K-pop musician Psy has garnered almost 49 million hit.

elaters?

Some of you might be wondering why i chose 'elaters' as my blog name. I overcome this word during my uni life. The definition of elaters is as below. 

"An elater is a cell (or structure attached to a cell) that is hygroscopic, and therefore will change shape in response to changes in moisture in the environment. Elaters come in a variety of forms, but are always associated with plant spores. In plants that do not have seeds, they function in dispersing the spores to a new location".

I don't know why. I just simply fall in love with that word. Just like love at first sight. I still remember that I told myself that if one day I would open a restaurant or anything that I will do with a brand, I will use 'elaters' as the brand name. And now, I use it as my blog name.
